Here at Whispering
Woods Kennel, we are dedicated
to producing superior Dobermans for all the right
reasons. Our dogs are specifically selected
primarily for Stable Temperaments, Easy Trainability and Good
Health, with Proper Breed Type also being a significant
consideration.
Whether you want a doberman who will primarily sound an alarm to alert you to an intruder, or one who will physically protect you and yours, Whispering Woods Kennel is the Place!
We have two well established Doberman
bloodlines; the "Kristy line" (Z-Free) is for those
who want the ultimate protector or competition

and the "Phantom line"
is for those who may prefer a milder Doberman temperament in a
black or red Dobe, or a Doberman of any of the five possible colors.

In addition to Dobermans, we also raise, train and hunt with Treeing Feists and Treeing Curs. We are working on a separate Feist and Cur section to this page. Feists and Curs are registered with the United Kennel Club and the National Kennel Club. Additionally, we are members of the National Cur And Feist Breeder's Association (NCFBA) and the Southern Star Feist and Cur Club (SSFCC).
We also raise Registered Arabians and Part-Arabian Ponies, with a special emphasis on Part-Arabian ponies. Scaled down to 12 - 13 Hands, and especially suited to the young rider, these foals are specifically bred and raised for docility and human orientation. They are Arabian in appearance, and not at all pony type!
Our Oberhasli Dairy Goats are are a fun family project that we all enjoy.
Our daughters, Jessie and Molly, each have a Sheltie they are quite proud of.
