GENERAL HEALTH GUARANTEE;

(All dogs and puppies.)

Puppy must be returned within 72 hours of purchase and must be accompanied by all paperwork supplied by seller at time of sale, and a written statement from the veterinarian clearly stating defect or illness.

Sick puppies may not be returned to the seller's home! It is the responsibility of the purchaser to contact the seller to arrange another place to meet. (This is to prevent healthy puppies from becoming ill.) Seller would never knowingly sell a sick puppy and purchaser agrees that seller could not have been aware of any illness or defect unable to be detected by a licensed veterinarian. If a puppy is found to have a health problem at it's initial veterinary visit and purchaser opts to treat this puppy instead of exchanging it for another puppy or returning it for a refund, Seller is not responsible for any expenses incurred or for the death of the puppy, and no refunds or replacements will be made, nor will any credits be issued.

After 72 hours, all sales are final and no money will be refunded for any reason.

This guarantee does not apply to any puppies sold for $350.00 or less before ear trims (or for $500.00 or less after ear trims if applicable), unless prepromised or otherwise specified in writing at the time of purchase. It does not allpy to dogs or puppies with limited registrations and/or those sold with spay/neuter agreements. This guarantee applies only to dogs/puppies bred by Whispering Woods Kennel and only to the original purchaser of this puppy. This guarantee reflects the 7 week value of the animal, before ear trimming or any training.

Seller does hereby guarantee this puppy to have acceptable hip joint conformation as determined by the O.F.A. If this puppy's hips are rejected for O.F.A. certification between two (2) and two and one half (2 1/2) years of age, seller will replace this puppy with another puppy of comparable value from our next available litter. Replacement puppy will be of the same breed, sex and color as the original puppy unless otherwise agreed to by both parties. Replacement puppies will be provided between six (6) and sixteen (16) weeks of age. Seller is bound by this guarantee if and only if the following conditions are met;

1. Seller must be notified of O.F.A. rejection within thirty (30) days of it's postmark.
2. O.F.A. rejection and a written statement from the licensed veterinarian who took the X-rays must accompany request.
3. Original puppy must be spayed or neutered by the purchaser, and a written statement from a licensed veterinarian indicating that this has been done must be provided to the seller. (Original puppy may be kept by the purchaser or returned to the seller at the option of the purchaser.)
4. Original puppy must not ever have been hit by a vehicle or suffered any other physical trauma, capable of causing lameness of any type, for any duration. Any such trauma will render this guarantee null and void.
5. Any returned animal must be accompanied by any and all paperwork supplied by the seller at the time of sale, as well as a written statement from a licensed veterinarian indicating the following; a) All shots are and have been kept current. b) Dog has had a negative fecal within thirty (30) days. c) Dog has had a negative heartworm test within thirty (30) days and has been kept on heartworm preventative. d) Dog appears to be healthy and well cared for.
6. Purchaser must not be in violation of the "Basic Maintenance Agreement" signed at time of purchase of original puppy, and must sign a new Basic Maintenance agreement on any replacement puppy provided at the time of acquisition. In the case of a question, it will be the responsibility of the purchaser to provide documentation showing shot records and other applicable veterinary attention and receipts.
7. It is hereby understood by the purchaser that if purchase price of the original puppy is $500.00 or less, then no hip guarantee will be made on any replacement. However, a replacement will not have both the same parents as the original.

Seller does hereby guarantee this puppy to be free of any verifiably inherited conditions that are detrimental to the puppy's health. If this puppy dies or is severely crippled from a documented inherited condition, prior to five years of age, a credit equal to the original price of the puppy will be issued. If this puppy dies or is severely crippled from a documented inherited condition between five and seven years of age, a credit equal to one half of the original purchase price of this puppy will be issued. Seller is bound by this guarantee if and only if the following conditions are met;

1. Seller must be notified within thirty (30) days of diagnosis of condition or death of puppy.
2. Request must be accompanied by a necropsy report if the dog is deceased, and absolute, verifiable diagnosis of the inherited condition in either case, including , but not limited to, a statement from a licensed veterinarian and copies of relevant lab reports or DNA tests. (It is the responsibility of the purchaser to document a genetic disorder) DNA tests only will be accepted for vWD diagnosis.
3. Original puppy must be spayed or neutered by the purchaser, and a written statement from a licensed veterinarian indicating that this has been done must be provided to the seller. (Original puppy may be kept by the purchaser or returned to the seller at the option of the purchaser.)
4. Purchaser may not be in violation of the Basic Maintenance agreement signed at the time of purchase of the puppy, and must provide veterinary records to verify that the puppy has been appropriately cared for by the purchaser.

(Buyer's Guarantee to Seller)

It is included for the purpose of providing for the dog’s/puppy’s continued health and well-being. Violation of this agreement invalidates all other guarantees.

Purchaser does hereby agree to take good and reasonable care of this puppy, including but not limited to the following;

Purchaser must provide all required immunizations from time of purchase. Puppy must have DA2PPv boosters at 9 weeks and 12 weeks of age. Puppy must have DA2PPvL boosters at 15 weeks and 18 weeks of age. (The Leptospirosis vaccine has been found to decrease parvovirus immunities in young puppies.) Another DA2PPvL booster is recommended at 6 months of age and is required annually thereafter. Rabies shots must be provided as recommended by your veterinarian and/or required by law. Any parasites, internal or external, must be promptly eliminated. Puppy must be started on heartworm preventative as soon as veterinarian feels is appropriate.

Clean, fresh water and proper food, in sufficient amounts must be provided. Puppy must be kept clean, warm and dry. Puppy may not be allowed out, unattended, unless within a secure enclosure.

Females may not be bred on their first heat, nor may they be bred prior to 18 months of age. (Even this is quite young.) Females may be bred only to comparable or superior males that are registered and of the same breed, and that have no known physical or temperamental defects. No dysplastic animals, male or female, may be bred.

If your Whispering Woods Doberman earns any A.K.C. obedience or tracking title, and appropriate documentation to verify this accomplishment is provided, then a rebate of 30% of the original purchase price of the puppy will be provided to the owner.

If your Whispering Woods Doberman earns a Schutzhund (or IPO) degree, and appropriate documentation to verify this is provided, then a rebate of 30% of the original purchase price of the puppy will be provided to the owner.

If your Whispering Woods Doberman earns a title in each of these three categories, and all of the appropriate documentation to verify these accomplishments has been provided, then an additional rebate of 10% of the original purchase price of the puppy will be provided to the owner. Under no circumstances will more than the original purchase price of the puppy be forthcoming.
