This is just a quick page on setting up the Speedstream router with static NAPT entries.
Warning:
Unlike the Cisco 600 series routers with newer CBOS images the Speedstream is unable to do a range of ports and is limited to 64 port translations. On the good side, setting up the NAPT entries in the Speedstream is quite easy and can be done within your browser.
Yes I know this site was supposed to be for the Cisco routers but I've been getting alot of people asking how to setup the Speedstream router.
To get into your Speedstream router open up your Browser and bring up the router's IP address on your internal network. In my example here I have my router setup to 192.168.0.10. By default the router is setup to be 10.0.0.1 so try that for the address. Once inside the router click on the ADVANCED SETUP button.
Once you select ADVANCED SETUP select the link on the left frame that says Network Address Port Translation (NAPT). Now on the right hand frame select Configure NAPT servers.
Now the left frame will come up with a configuration similar to the one I have displayed here. There are 3 things that you have to know about your NAPT entry.

The protocol (TCP, UDP or GRE)
The port number (anywhere from 0 to 65535)
And the Server IP on your machine.

In the service field there are a few "default" server types to choose from, most likely these are not the ones that you are needing so you will have to use port numbers. The server field is where you would put your computer's IP address on your Local Area Network. By default the first machine booted up on the network will get an IP address of 10.0.0.2 You can try using that but if your machine ever boots up and gets another IP address your NAPT entries may not work. The best thing to do is set your machine up to use static internal IP address. This would have to be done in your TCP/IP settings. Look HERE for setting up your internal IP addresses. Just make sure that your gateway is setup to 10.0.0.1, your IP address is something like 10.0.0.150 and your subnet mask is set to 255.0.0.0 Once you have everything setup in the NAPT entry click on the Add Service button. After that you can enter another entry or close out of the browser, reboot is not required for the NAPT entries to take effect. As a side note, the firmware version of the Speedstream I have in these shots is 2.1.0, Your ISP may have newer versions of the firmware available that have enhanced pass thru support for certain games and applications. The configuration proceedures for setting up NAPT entries will remain the same.
