The later editions of very few titles are more valuable than the first editions.  How many ML titles fall into this category and which are they?  (Submitted by Joe Hill)

Answer:

The four titles listed below have (according to the ML Price Guide) later editions with higher price indicators than their first editions.  This occurs when a title with a flex edition has a very short run with a #8 binding.

Huneker / Painted Veils
Stendahl / Charterhouse of Parma
Sudermann / Song of Songs
Wilde / Picture of Dorian Gray w/De Profundis

Although not supported by the guide (yet), Joe Hill believes that the second edition of Auden / Selected Poetry may be more valuable (due to being more scarce) than the first edition of the, well, first edition.
