Salt Valley District Winter Camping Award
During the months of October to March, a Scout must:
- Participate in at least four overnight campouts spending at least five nights in a tent.
- Participate in a minimum five mile hike.
- Start a fire using the natural tinder, kindling, and fuel of the surrounding area.
- Cook his own meal from scratch. The meal must be approved by the Scoutmaster or an Assistant Scoutmaster.
