These are some tips to use when your son has been selected to do the shopping for his patrol on a campout.
- If they want milk, determine what it is for. (ie: 1/2 cup for Mac & Cheese - do not buy a gallon)
- When buying cereal for sunday morning breakfast, buy the individual serving packs (the box is used as a bowl to eliminate some Sunday morning cleanup).
- Try to keep the cost under budget.
- Keep your receipt, mark it with your name, the patrol shopped for and number of scouts shopped for. Turn it in at the next troop meeting to get reimbursed.
