My Current Progress...

Finally, I pulled the bed down to the shop. Here it is after the fenders were removed, which took a ton of grinding, as most of the bolts were rusted fast.
You can see here that most of the paint on the front panel was coming off. Also, you can see the undercoating on the bedside, inside the fenderwells.
After an entire afternoon with the sand-blaster, I sandblasted the places where metal, met metal... like the outside of the bedsides, where the fenders bolted on.
Here, the end braces for the wood planks were welded to bedsides; after removing them, I sandblasted the lower portion of the bedsides.
In one nite, I epoxy primered the entire bed, including the fenders, as well as the braces.
A reward to a hard day's work!
Here is where the project is taking shape! All the body is assembled, and lined up.
The body work is bascically compete, just a few small dents here and there!
After masking most of the truck, the body work is primed.

Since the fenders got nicked in the sanding process, they are primered as well.

There was a dime size nick in the hood, beside the body line, so that was taken care of as well.
Here is the guy who is painting my truck and doing all the body work. We're doing all the body work down @ my shop... and the finish coat in a bake booth.
