HGW      Hi... you have just stumbled into The HomeGrown Graphic Workshop! You'll find no fancy image galleries or elaborate page sets here. There are other, excellent, sites dedicated to that. What you will find are articles, tips and basic tutorials which will help "jump start" the creative process in the novice Webmaster / Graphic Designer.

We originally began with PSP version 3 tutorials. As PSP improved we added more tutorials. As a result the HomeGrown Graphic Workshop contains tutorials for a variety of PSP versions. We have retained them all so you, the beginner, can more easily see just what is involved in graphics editing and creation.

We do not try to teach it all. Instead our focus is on illustrating what can be done with a little imagination and a lot of encouragement. Some of the things you'll find here are basic methods of creating metallic text, stainless steel, navigation bars and tubes. Our goal is to help beginning webmasters free themselves from the need to take graphics from other sites or relying upon the generosity of others. All are welcome here... from the beginner to the advanced developer... If any of our content helps then we have fulfilled our purpose. We hope you find your visit useful and enjoyable!

Do you have a basic tip, template or texture you'd like to contribute to our Workbook? If so, just shoot us an e-mail! Your tip or template will be published under your name, along with, a link to your site!
