Required: Graphing calculator, suggested TI-83 (that is what the
instructor will be using) You may also use a TI-83, 83+,85, 86,
or 89

Homework: It is extremely important that you do
your homework assignments in a timely fashion. Homework will be
collected the day of each exam. All material covered on the exam
is due that day. Each section listed on the assignment sheet is
worth one point. Assignments turned in after the test will
receive no credit. Makeup tests are usually not given. Only
in extreme circumstances will a makeup exam be given. This is at
the discretion of the instructor. Students must notify instructor
BEFORE the day of the exam if they are going to miss the
exam. Only one make-up exam allowed per student!
Attendance: I fully believe attendance is of the utmost
importance. It demonstrates a willingness to achieve and a full
commitment to your education. Attendance points are given at one
point per every two days. Please be considerate during class
time. Talking during a lecture is inappropriate and is bothersome
to those people trying to listen. Please turn off all cell
phones before class begins!
Please make arrangements with the instructor
if you need outside help. I am more than willing to spend the
extra time. Let me know in advance to set up an
appointment. Please feel free to ask questions before or after
class. If you have any special needs I should be aware of, please
let me know privately.
Tests and grading scale: Look at the student handbook on academic
dishonesty. Cheating will result in an automatic zero. Look
on the assignment sheet for grading scale.
