Ken and the Peach - Ty Cobb
Ken and The Peach...Ty Cobb
Growing up in North Georgia in the 50's was one of my greatest times. My hero was baseball immortal Ty Cobb. He lived in my home town during this time and my dream was to pitch to him. In this painting I have depicted that dream. Along with me and Ty at Bennett Park in Detroit is my grandson Drew and his baseball hero, Andrew Jones.

Hank at the Opry
HANK AT THE OPRY

Growing up in North Georgia mountains not a lot went on at night. But, then again on Saturday night on the radio was some great stuff. We always listened to the GRAND OLE OPRY on WSM radio. I remember it well. In this painting I have tried to depict a "wanna be" musician seeing the Ryman and stars for the first time.
