The Leechburg Area Museum and Historical Society is located in the David Leech house -- the oldest house in Leechburg.

This is the bronze plaque that hangs on the Main Street side of the David Leech house. It reads "The David Leech House. The oldest house in Leechburg. Leechburg Area Historical Society.

There's quite a history within this two-story building, and we invite you to experience it by means of a personal visit.

Our collection covers a wide gamut of items including era clothing, signs and other artifacts from area businesses, Minetas, sports pictures, information about local industries, paintings, photographs, history books, Leechburg Advance newspapers, furniture, and more.

There's a gift shop where you can pick up a Leechburg Museum sweatshirt, t-shirts, notecards, videos of the 1950 centennial, and other souvenirs.

Upstairs, we have a large research library filled with interesting, rare and exclusive documents dating back to Leechburg's earliest existence.

So, plan to visit the hometown. Spend an afternoon with us. You'll be glad you did.
