Speakers Bureau Silence is no longer "Golden" and we in the plant food industry would like to have opportunities to set the record straight. We can no longer ignore uninformed babbling because there are millions of uninformed and somewhat apprehensive consumers out there who are developing a distrust of all participants in their food supply chain because all they hear are negative "newsworthy items" or outright misleading stories or partial truths. It is a fact that less than 2% of the population of the United States is employed in any phase of the Ag industry, so informing an "agri-ignorant" consumer will be a daunting task. Even so, we have to keep our consumers informed with the truth. Telling the whole story of American Agriculture with a solid scientific facts to back it up will begin to plant seeds of trust and truth in the minds of our ultimate consumers. We in agriculture wish to proudly provide an abundant, cost effective, quality, nutritious, and safe food supply for present and future generations, after all, we eat it too!.
