A close-up of the intake mod.  I used the stock "S" pipe from the AFM to the throttle body, because it's required by SCCA rules.  I then attached one of the two "90's" from an '87 intake and attached the "Monster Flow" filter to it.  It picks up air in the updraft through the engine bay, and it's away from any heat-generators. The cable ties aren't pretty, but they work until I can figure out a more elegant solution.
