Things we learned this weekend:

  1. Hallett is a fun, but very technical track. We were on         track for 9 sessions, and still got quicker every time    out. Lots to learn!
  2. The softer front--harder rear worked.
  3. A 930 is a bitch to pass in a straight line!
4. Having a place to go sit and cool off; camper, motor home, trailer, whatever is the only way to go!
5. Removing years-old duct tape leaves a horrible mess (note front bumper). Later I discovered "GOO GONE".

6.   Either Hoosier tires last longer than most people give them credit for--or I'm really easy on tires.

  1. The bigger brakes worked fine, and Hallett is notoriously hard on brakes.
  2. The heat problems we had with the clutch have gone away, but we were having transmission problems.  It sticks in 3rd and releases when cool.
  3. My impression is, now, that a MkI can be very competitive in ITA when properly developed.  Handling is in the ballpark already -- need power!
