I bought it for $500 with a knock in the freshly built engine, and not a dent in it.  I put in a cage and some other goodies, raced it for 4 years, won the Divisional Championship, in ITC ('95) and sold it.  The only DNF we ever had was when I forgot to insulate a wire (kept saying "we need to fix that" - never did) and blew a fuse at the start.  I rebuilt the motor, and it never ran right after that.  Oh, well.  The guy I sold it to double-rolled it at Memphis at his first school.  The Kirk cage survived admirably, and he bent the dents out and raced it for another year.  He sold it to Phil Harris, who won the '00 Divisional Championship in it.  One tough, reliable, little car!
