yoUR Psychic - George P. Butler
Gypsy Band
Late 1600s.
Plains area of eastern middle Europe, flat along river (Danube Valley?).
The band was very dark-hearted.
NOTE: A weekend at a favorite place on the Sacramento River. Some of the people below were at the RV park that weekend. Being around them caused memories to flood back. Since then, more recalls have come through, as others fit into the missing pieces.

Personality - Young, in love with JB, do anything to be with her, psychically inclined.
Additional info - In love with JB, father of the child born to her and taken from her when Diane stabbed her and threw her in the hole to die. Picked up alot of knowledge about monitoring people from watching Diane. Victor and Diana did their best to keep me and JB apart.
JB: Stage actress, token
Skills - Actress before being recruited into the band. In the band, stage presence/token.
Personality - Light, gullible, naive, beautiful.
Additional info - In love with me in that life and mother of my child. This life, my second wife.
LON: Recruiter, con man
Skills - Responsible for bringing in new talent, keeping things happy, training and indoctrination. Maybe retarded, savant/naive/simpleton/innocent.

Additional info - This life, married to Diana.
DIANA: Fortune Teller
Skills - Used fortune telling as a front for her psychic abilities. Ran the whole operations. Always watched over all activities. Orchestrated the actions of all involved.
Personality - VERY black-hearted. Control freak.
Additional info - Was the woman who put the curse on me in the previous life in the 1650s – in that 1650s life she was Victor’s mistress. In band life, married to Victor. This life, married to Lon.
FAYE: Victor & Diana's son. Peacekeeper

Personality - Kinder.
Additional info - Befriended and protected Ann and Deb, the "beasts-of-burden", brain-damaged, male twin animal keepers.
ANN & DEB: "Beasts-of-burden", brain-damaged, hulking, male twins, animal keepers
Skills - Almost none, due to brain damage at birth, followed orders mostly.
Personality - Almost none, gentle with animals.
Additional info - Kept the animals, raised tents, moved heavy items, had a kitten they loved dearly, raped a girl. In this life they hulk over her, protecting her from men, "knowing" what men are capable of.
BOB: Con man, pick pocket
Skills - Would size up the customers and plan the con and pick pocket activities. Bag man.
Personality - Total lack of respect for anyone outside of the gypsy circle, and even then, only respected the one with the power (Diana). Very dark soul!

THAT LIFE

JB was a stage performer.

I often came to the performances and was in love with her.

The gypsy band came to town, and needed a new token. (The last one seems to have been killed, too.)

They approached and recruited JB. I decided to join, as well, to be near her, and took off with them.

JB recognized them for what they were and what they were doing. She wanted out and was also pregnant, which took away from her service as a token.

Meanwhile, I was getting into the "operations" and being drawn away from JB by Diana, Diane and Victor, and further into the darkness. I was also learning how to monitor by watching Diane, although I was not meant to be acquiring these skills (I actually got very good at it later).

As soon as the baby was born, Diane stabbed JB in the chest with a knife, took the baby, and threw JB in a deep hole where she later died.

JB went into a ghost state, rather than transitioning. She repeatedly tried to talk with me, and often got angry that I couldn't hear her, as she tried to tell me what had happened. Her murder involved ritual killing and black magic.

Diana’s co-worker and Denise were recruited to replace JB as the attention-getters/tokens.

Faye was Diana's and Victor's son. He was actually a pretty nice guy, but lived the life of the gypsy, with everything that entailed. He was good for his age at trying to balance the dark things going on between the band and the outside world with what was going on within the band itself, so the band's attitude towards the outside world did not infect the band. A natural peacekeeper.

Ann and Deb were the "dumb muscle" of the band - huge, hulking, retarded, male twins. They did everything in the band that required heavy lifting and moving - tent raising, moving carts and wagons without hooking up horses - and they cared for the animals. They had a kitten that was the center of their attention.

They raped a young girl (I remembered who this girl was, but have forgotten again, since the recall).

The band and some town-folks were about to tear them apart; but Faye stepped in and saved them, by talking the group out of it, proving that the two of them had no real concept of what they were doing. Faye took over responsibility for watching them, and keeping them out of trouble.

People in the band continued to tease and bait them, often picking on the kitten. For the most part, Faye succeeded in keeping the group at bay.

I trained and showed animals, so I was around the three of them fairly regularly, and became friends with Faye.

James became involved with Marilyn, Victor's and Diana's daughter.

Victor liked James, so trained him to be the replacement Medicine Show snake-oil salesman, freeing Victor to be the Ring Master full-time.

Marilyn had already been working in the Medicine Show, as Victor's assistant, so easily transitioned to a new "master".

Marilyn was good at playing the cripple, suddenly cured by the magic elixir. They sold lots of it through her acting.
And, once she was "cured", she stood tall and quite beautiful, distracting the audience, so the pick-pockets could work the crowd.

Yvonne was an international inspector who had been following this troop to get evidence of their criminal activities. She was also hoping they would lead her to the money man.

After JB was killed, I approached Yvonne with inside information, including the murder - much of it passed on from JB in the ghost state, though I didn’t recognize it at that point. The operation was finally shut down.

Gloria and Arlene were police in JB's hometown, where the murder also took place. The band had traveled and was making its way back through at the time.

Diane was hanged for the murder.
[A footnote: That Diane was hanged showed in this life. Whenever she looked at JB at the river, she would begin rubbing her neck and try to smooth her hair down along it.]
One final comment.
If you identify yourself in this life, don't get angry.
It happened. It's past. You can't change it.
Rather than fretting over it, accept it as something you did.
Recognize it as over, something you don't need to repeat -
a lesson learned - "Been there, done that."
