WASP
--SPITE--

Wasp reminds you of the danger of holding resentments. Unlike Bee, who loses His stinger and dies, Wasp can sting and sting and sting, not caring what happens to His victim.

Wasp may get your attention to remind you that unreasonable, uncontrollable rage, spite and resentment could be making you waspish to people who do not deserve such treatment from you. Perhaps it is time to re-evaluate the root of your rage about something, or decide whether you are being reasonable in your reaction to a situation.

Alternately, Wasp may be telling you that someone is treating you waspishly because that person has the problem, not you. In that case, you may best just run for your life, until the person gets it out of his/her system.... Have you ever tried to reason with a Wasp?

WEASEL
--CUNNING AND STEALTH--

Weaseling one's way into something. Weasel is an energy Tom Clancy's hero would envy - the stealth to enter places undetected, the eyes to see behind facades, the nose to smell out the truth, the ears to hear secrets others might like to kept hidden. Weasel changes color - natural camouflage. Weasel is the loner, preferring to sit at the edge of a crowd watching everyone rather than getting distracted by any one person.

Weasel's visit carries many lessons. As usual, the lesson depends on the circumstances. Weasel may be reminding you that your insights make you a valued ally to those with whom you form partnerships. Weasel may be warning you that someone may be trying to put something over on you and you need to keep your eyes and ears open, or you may be deceiving yourself, despite what you "know". You are the worst person you can lie to, regardless how small you might convince yourself that lie is.

Weasel may be reminding you to use your talents for the good of mankind and Mother Earth. Weasel may be telling you that you have withdrawn too far from others. Perhaps it is time to allow others into your life again. Knowing about life through observing others is totally different from living it yourself. It is time to "Get a life!"

If you have been doubting yourself recently, Weasel may be telling you to clear away any fog that may have set in to blind you to what you KNOW.

WHALE
--RECORD KEEPER--

Whale is the repository of knowledge, the library of More Earth. Some legends have it Whale was placed here by the Ancients of Sirius, the Dog Star. Others say Whale was a land-dwelling animal, taking to the seas when the Earth shifted and Lemuria, known as the Motherland, sank. This was also the disaster that brought red man to the Americas, escaping from the land which was disappearing into the Pacific Ocean. Native legend continues that Whale watched the migration to Turtle Island (North America). Whale keeps maintains the memories and knowledge of Mu. Mu is to rise again when fire comes from the sky and falls into another ocean on Mother Earth. When this occurs, the Children of Earth must unite to survive.

Whale teaches us sounds. Sounds reach deep inside us and awake images and memories of the way things were. Around Whale sounds People know things, and don't know why. Whale reminds us that most any frequency acts on physical matter, and can be used to balance our physical and emotional bodies (e.g., music can be soothing or stimulating).

If Whale appears to you, it may be time for you to begin adjusting to frequencies to which you are unaccustomed... to prepare for the infusion of knowledge Whale brings about history, memories and changes.

WOLF
--TEACHER--

Wolf is associated with the Dog Star, Sirius. Many Native American legends refer to Sirius as the original home of our teachers in ancient times. The ancient Egyptians believed Sirius was the home of the gods. How is it that such significant legends arose around the same star of so many stars in the sky? Why is so much significance tied to this star by cultures on opposite sides of the world? Why do both groups associate Sirius with the Dog? How much truth is in the legends, myths and lore that have been handed down from before history?

Wolf is the teacher. When Wolf goes out into the world, She gathers knowledge and experience. Upon returning to the den, Wolf teaches the pack, sharing Her experiences. Wolf seeks new ways, Wolf is the Pathfinder.

Like Dog, Wolf is loyal, protective and familial. Yet Wolf displays individualism, as indicated by Her willingness to set off alone and seek the unknown, then to return with the knowledge.

Wolf's power ally is the Moon. The Moon symbolizes psychic energy and the unconscious where secrets of knowledge and wisdom lie. Baying at the Moon shows Wolf's drive to find the secrets hidden in the unconscious. Wolf summons the teacher in all of us, to make us aware of the Great Mystery and life, and help us to teach others.

If Wolf walks into your life, you may be ready to awaken and learn about the Mysteries. You may also be ready to teach the lessons to others. There may also be the hint that you should go off alone for awhile and, like Wolf, learn of "other knowledge", which you can bring back and share for the benefit of many. Many say your teacher will appear when you have asked AND when you are ready. If Wolf appears, you have indeed been graced by the presence of the greatest of teachers.

Wolf may bring you lessons for yourself or for others. Before deciding it is for someone else, ensure that you have looked within yourself and determined that it is absolutely not for you. Often you will be surprised that lessons apparently for others do, or will soon, carry significance for you.

Wolf's lesson for you may be that you should eliminate fear. The lesson will do you little good, if you are too afraid to implement the teachings. Look about you at the time Wolf appears, and determine what it is you fear... That is what Wolf is reminding you to work on.

Woodpecker is the heartbeat of Earth.

Woodpecker asks if you are spending too much time beating your head against the wall. Or are you paying
attention to the rhythyms within your body that have been trying to send you messages.

Your physical body is tied to the Earth, of matter. Just as Earth has its rhythyms (tides, quakes, floods, storms), the
physical matter which makes up your body has its own rhythyms - sleep, waking, monthly cycle.

Woodpecker is likely to be warning that you are spending too much time in the mental, to the neglect of your
body. You have the option of neglecting your body until it dies, then you can return to the spiritual. However,
doing so will likely mean you will return to try again to this world to get it right - you blew it!

If Woodpecker flies into your life, you may be being told to stop, smell the roses, listen to the cycles of the Earth,
listen to the cycles of your body. Or Woodpecker may be telling you to look at the cycles of the people around
you, the activities in which they involve themselves. See if you really are comfortable with the frenzy of the pace
you have slid into, so you can be part of that group. Is it right for you?

Are you happy killing your body, so you can rush back to the spirit side?

You built the exact foundation (body) for the lessons you chose to learn this lifetime; but you may not remember the
lessons you chose to learn - your life goals. Woodpecker reminds you to pause... Use the natural rhythyms of your body to help you remember why (goals for which) you gathered this energy together to make this body this time, for
this life. You may be surprised to hear you embedded codes into the body you formed during gestation to remind
you why you came here. Now, you just have to slow yourself enough for your body to reveal those messages!

Woodpecker flies erratically, "to a different drummer". You are being told to have confidence in your walk, since
you have built your path. As Woodpecker is confident in his ability to fly, you are told to walk confidently along
your path... Your foundation is sound. "Walk the talk!"
