EARLY AMERICAN QUEEN ANNE SIDE CHAIR. In old finely crazed red varnish surface, urn shaped back in tiger maple wood, with nice old wear and patina all around.  Sturdy woven rush seat is an excellent replacement that makes it ready for use. 40” max height x 20 ¾” wide at front of seat x 14 ½” deep, and 17” high at seat. Connecticut, circa 1760.

SET OF SIX ORIGINAL DECORATED CHAIRS, SIGNED BY MAKER. Painted in a base coat of hard-to-find salmon-orange and accented by yellow and black, this set of Pennsylvania plank bottom chairs are in excellent freehand painted decoration, depicting peaches and buds with nice contrasting striping and piping.  On the bottom of each chair is the stenciled mark: “J. B. Boyd’s Chair Factory  22 Sth 2nd St  Harrisburg, PA”.  Max width 17 ½” x 31 ½” high x 17” seat height (approx). Mid-19th Century.

CARVED ROPE BED. Early 19th century rope bed, cherry and poplar woods, in original cherry stain and nice attic-surface varnish. The two headboard posts each with hand-carved acanthus and floral motif.  Fitted with custom metal braces to accommodate custom box spring and modern mattress (not included). Max height, to top of headboard, 59 ½" x 54” max width x 78 ½" total length. Height to top of bedrail is 17 ”.

PAINTED LADDERBACK.  Early American country ladderback in mustard grained paint decoration over red.  Chair is circa early 1800s, and mustard graining is probably about 1860-70. Woven splint seat looks original and height is good.
