Youth Purpose Statement
Baptist Youth Fellowship exists to
REACH non-believing Junior and Senior High
students, to CONNECT them to other
Christians, to help them all to GROW in their
faith, and challenge them to ESTABLISH their
ministry of service and to HONOR God with
their lives.

REACH: Evangelism is sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with those who don't yet have a personal relationship with Him. In Acts 1:8 we are called to be his witnesses to all people.
CONNECT: Fellowship happens when students are known, cared for, held accountable and encouraged in their spiritual journey. Ephesians 2:19 tells us to fellowship with God's people.
GROW: Discipleship is used to describe the strengthening of believers in their lifelong journey to be like Christ. In Hebrews 6:1 we are told be Christ to go on to maturity.
ESTABLISH: Ministry is discovering the gifts that God has given and use them for His glory. Gifts are given without age limitations. Our youth ministry continually encourages students to establish their gifts and put them into practice through ministry and mission opportunities.
HONOR: Worship is a way that we honor God through our presence and our lifestyle. Romans 12:1 tells us to honor God in all that we do. Everything that our youth ministry does is done solely to please God.
