Pop decided that I had been dragging my feet for long enough on the hatch so he takes over.

Pop cuts out the rib with a band saw.

Laminating a piece 1/16th" aluminum in between two ribs

A little gorilla glue to make the three pieces in to one.

Both sets of ribs clamped together to dry and then sand.
