Thomas Moore was born in the state of Tennessee and died in Panola County, Mississippi. He married first Permelia Quinn or Guinn on 08 September 1825 in Claiborne County, Mississippi. Secondly, he married Jane Cooper on 09 March 1836 in Claiborne County, Mississippi. Thomas' third marriage was to my great grandmother, Lydia Margaret Thetford. Lydia and Thomas married on 23 October 1845 in Copiah County, Mississippi. Lydia was the daughter of Gabriel Thetford and Elizabeth Will(s) or Wells.

Thomas Moore
Thomas was probably the son of Teenan Moore. This has not been proven, but circumstantial evidence makes the probability very high. Teenan married in 1797 in Guilford County, North Carolina to Margaret Bowen.
