1890's Victorian Oak Wooden Telephone Booth

This
pre 1900 wooden telephone booth measures 36" x 42" by 84" and is
entirely of solid Oak panel construction. Look at the photos closely to
appreciate the fine craftsmanship of this unique piece of furniture.
The
booth is a double wall (for sound proofing) design, with a solid panel
door (not a bi-fold door like later models). The glass panel in the
door as well as the two side panels are old glass, with the
imperfections that old glass always exhibited. There is a wooden floor,
as well as finished wooden panels all around. The top crown is
extremely ornate, with a great display of hand carving. This is a
quality piece of telephone memorabilia, as well as a fine piece of
furniture. There are some extra holes that have been drilled to allow
for the telephone wiring in the past; there is slight damage at the
bottom of the left hand side of the window panel (see photo), and
the booth has been wired with an old porcelain light fixture with a new
plug in cord. This great Victorian style telephone booth is over 100
years old, and is being sold as is, and should be picked up here
in Lincoln Nebraska. If buyer wishes shipment, booth can be broken down
into 6 pieces and laid flat for crating. Buyer will need to make ALL
arrangements for shipment. The mannequin and telephone are
not included in this sale, they are there strictly for
