Hello!
Welcome to my amateur weather station page. This station is located in the
North Georgia mountains not far from the town of Dahlonega. The exact map
coordinates for this station are 34n32 by 83w59 (34.532n x 83.985w) at an
elevation of approximately 1410 feet above Mean Sea Level. All data is recorded
using my Oregon Scientific model WMR968 home weather station.For those of you not familiar with Georgia, I have provided the map on the left to give you an idea where this station is located. Since I am in the North Georgia mountains, the weather at my home is quite often more severe than in the Atlanta Metro area or its suburbs. Using this page, I can keep an eye on my home conditions in winter time. This provides the information I need to leave my job in Atlanta before the roads become impassable.
