Welcome to the home page of Dreamworld Observatory. Our mission is to provide a safe haven for my children and my grandchildren to enjoy and learn about the night sky, telescopes and astrophotography.
Photography of the planets and moons, and also earth's moon will be first objective. The 110 Messier and other deep sky objects will be attempted as our skills improve.
Different methods of photography including afocal, prime focus and eyepiece projection will be applied by experimentation. The idea is to learn as we go and above all have fun.
This site and the observatory are a work in progress and both will be changing as we go, hopefully for the better. Check this site often to see how we do. We also welcome any advice and comments you may have.
