Good-To-Go Models.... Potpourri ....

One Friday night Jack Bryan watched a series of  Nobler video tapes available from Windy Urtnowksi   then showed up Sunday morning with this beautiful Nobler; easily one of the best we've ever seen.  In reality, many  months of dedicated effort were spent  building this excellent model.  Front row caliber finish is dope & acrylic lacquer. Powered by an FP .40, Jack's Nobler took First in the Advanced Stunt Class at the Orbiting Eagles Fall Contest in September, 1999.  He lives in Lincoln

Veteran control line modeler George Lieb scrutinizes the finer points of the Nobler as Jack (right) looks on.  George is an avid Carrier & Racing enthusiast and was CD for the Fall meet

Jared Hays and his SIG Chipmunk powered by a "box stock" FP .40.  Originally built by Chris Noles, it has a "composite finish" (painted fuselage and film covered flying surfaces).  The wing mounted landing gear has been replaced with fuselage mounted aluminum gear.  Economical and relatively easy to build models like this are all you need for practice, sport and intermediate through advanced competition.  You can be airborne for less than $300 (much less, if some items are pre-owned).  Did we mention they are also lots of fun!
