Bob Furr, a spark plug in local club, fires up his original design take-apart profile model at a Spring flying session in 1999.  Omaha has a great field thanks to a ten year effort by members of the Orbiting Eagles Control Line Club (from 1970 - 1980).

Ed Prohaska built this All American by tracing the parts to an old kit.  Its a successful experiment in take apart models and disassembles into 3 main pieces, plus the tank, landing gear & all control surfaces are removable.  Good-To-Go Models has a few All American kits in stock & ready to ship.  Give us a call or send email for details.

Long time stunt modeler Gary Hays created this well finished and excellent flying original model (right) powered by a box stock Super Tiger .60.  Finish is Imron® paint  Gary and his dad Byron Hays own several Super Tiger .46 and .60 engines.  Some of them are still "new in the box"

Old stunt ships never die...., they just get used for engine test beds and hundreds of practice flights. Shown here is a model built by Dick Byron nearly 20 years ago and bought by Ed Prohaska at the 1982 Lincoln Nationals.  It's had over 2,000 flights with 15 different engines and is shown here (just before retirement in September 1999) ready to field test a new Stalker .51 rear exhaust.  This powerful, user friendly and relatively low cost engine is a good fit for the Magnum as well as many classic and modern designs.

Expert modeler Byron Hays scratch built a sharp looking Starduster.  Originally designed by Lou Wolgast for a Super Tiger .46, Byron enlarged it for an ST .60.  Its an impressive flier and looks just as good airborne as it does on the ground.  The Imron® finish is like a molded plastic shell.

Another take apart model is Ed Prohaska's OS FP .15 powered profile Bearcat built from Flying Model plans, with a few changes.  Everything is removable, including the wing, wing tips, stab, flaps, elevators, control system, main landing gear and fin/rudder. Finish is iron-on film on the flying surfaces & matching paint on the fuselage.

Want to see your model on the Internet?  Attach it to your email or post us a photo or floppy disk file.  Sorry, we can't promise it will get published & photos are usually not returned, but they can be include with your order if you wish!
