On the left is a 5" high Dressel & Kister German half-doll on a French porcelain base with brass filigree. Stamped in the brass is "France 9TE SGDG". The base is 7 1/2" in diameter. The total height is 9". The French box on the right is 6 3/4" high and 5" wide. Stamped in a green circle on the bottom of the base is "Creation R. B. Paris Made in France". I believe this to be the original model from which the Japanese company, Noritake, copied their prized box.

On the left is a colorful 7 1/4" high by 6 1/4" long German box marked "10425". Double figure boxes are very appealing to collectors and are hard to find. I will avoid the over used term "rare". The word "rare" should only be used when ordering a steak! The box on the right is 7 1/8" tall by 4" wide. It is an unmarked German Kewpie like box with movable arms. She has the most adorable dimples in her chubby little legs.

The unmarked German double figured box shown above is 7" high by 6" wide. A most remarkable couple trimmed in silver, an extra costly manufacturing process. The reclining flapper is 7" long, 4" high and 3" wide. The German beauty is unmarked.
